Fascinated by the world of patterns? Want to learn new creative skills or develop your current ones? Lizzie offers UK-based workshops to small groups of all abilities and also one-to-one tuition. Previous workshops include The Whitworth, Loughborough University, CASS Art, Arc Centre & Gallery, and L&E Foundation.
Each class can be tailored to the needs of the students, and can involve: - pattern drawing tuition with designs from a variety of cultures and countries - practice of freehand work and symmetry - research materials and inspiration - working with different materials - origami teaching - mindfulness colouring, and - the creation of artwork or decorated objects for exhibiting/to take home.
Patterns are highly versatile, can be sourced from many places, and their applications/possibilities are endless!
Both short classes, from a couple of hours to a day, to longer courses, such as weekends, are available.
