/ Muqarnas Project A 3D structure made out of card and paper decorated with hand-drawn freehand patterns on all of the facets. The piece is inspired by the muqarnas and architecture found in Uzbekistan and Iran. The project was a massive challenge, and took over 2.5 years and 4 months of full time work. The piece which measures 47.5cm x 47.2cm x 11cm depth, contains 58 patterns, 21 components and 20 colours, of which 12 are different shades of blue. Credit to Joachim Tantau for net-making tuition.
